Robert Trent Jones designed one of the best parkland courses in Ireland at Adare, befitting of the magnificent Adare Manor. Adare Golf Club is set in an 800 acre woodland estate through which the River Maigue flows and features on many of the golf holes. The finishing hole is the feature hole with water all along the left and the approach to the green having to carry the river. The luxury Manor hotel makes this an ideal base from which to play some of the top golf links in Ireland located nearby.
