Templenoe, Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland
Founded: 1947
Course Architect: Eddie Hackett.
Parkland Par 71.
Standard Scratch Score: 71
Length: 6,380 yards.
Located 4 miles west of Kenmare town, the Ring of Kerry Golf
& Country Club sits majestically overlooking Kenmare Bay,
enjoying unspoiled views of the most panoramic scenes of mountains
and ocean to be savoured from any course in Ireland.
Though relatively new the course has matured quickly and when
I first played here the condition of the greens was excellent
and they putted very true. Many of the holes feature water
hazards and good general good course design requires a lot
of clever shot making.
